Catholic. Soc. Sec. #565-22-6049. Oregon certificate #8364, local reg. #615. He was a freshman living at Alder house, and on the football team, at the University of Oregon. He was a passenger in a rented plane piloted by a housemate, a decorated WW II veteran. The plane crashed and burned on takeoff on 17 November causing burns and tetanus. The proximate cause of death was third degree trauma of leg and hand. Death occurred at the Sacred Heart hospital in Eugene, Oregon. |
