Catholic. Arno provided two ahnentafels concerning his ancestors. For his maternal line it was for the ADAM family where his mother's sister, Rosa Francisca, was #3 in the Stradovitz system. This ahnentafel which was certified by the Nazi government in 1944 was extensive for six generations including religions, occupations and registration numbers. The ahnentafel for his paternal line may be on a format used by the Roman Catholic church. The information in the main body of the two page form is typed but there are a number of additions and corrections entered by hand. He was employed by the local government finance office in Landau. He was a gratuate of the gymnaium in Landau. He lost one leg to shrapnel while serving in the German Army during World War II during the seige of Leningrad. |
