He joined the sales department of the Erie Forge & Steel Company in 1918 and was manager of forging sales in 1956. During WW II he was a principal industrial specialist with the War Production Board as a dollar-a-year man (a war-time program where the company paid his salary and the Federal Government paid one dollar for his services). His Erie obituary appeard 24 November 1957. The county of the marriage might have been Indiana County. |
